Diane Elson-Bankoff is a philanthropic member of the global community as well as ambassador in fair labor & trade practice in India, Tibet, and across the globe. Elson & Company continue to prove that tasteful, elevated design is both timeless and forever borderless—fusing the endless possibilities of sophisticated design with quality, fair trade, hand-knotted Tibetan rugs & dhurries.

GOALS:
We were retained by Elson & Company to raise overall awareness for this highly-regarded brand of hand-woven Tibetan rugs, dhurries, elegant table linens and original artwork as well as designing & developing her first e-commerce shopping experience to showcase the wares on her re-imagined website.

STRATEGY:
A series of highly targeted pitches, strategically timed and staggered new product launches and one-on-one meetings with key influential members of the press, garnered a significant amount of press and ongoing buzz for the company as a whole as well as their new collections. Our outreach efforts increased sales and the company has since been approached by several larger companies to partner with and/or be purchased by them. Elson & Company remains independent, yet enjoys much greater awareness and thus sales.

A new website interface and an additional e-commerce functionality supplemented the launch of new elson & company products. Given the ease and functionality of the platform we designed, the client was easily able to add additional products and a shopping cart to the site – improving visitor experience with efficient and effective browsing and shopping! Not only was our client’s site visitor happy with the new interface and functionality, the new site delivered a profitable new revenue stream that allows Elson & Company the opportunity to continue growing the e-commerce offering.
